Modelowanie charakterystyk wybranych diod LED mocy z uwzględnieniem zjawisk cieplnych

Modelling characteristics of the selected power LEDs with thermal phenomena taken into account

Przemysław Ptak

Abstract:

In the paper the manner of the modelling of power LED with the use of the SPICE software is presented. The new electro-thermal-optical model of power LED diodes taking into account both electric phenomena, self-heating and optical phenomena in selected LEDs is proposed. The correctness of the model is verified experimentally both in the steady state and in dynamic operation of LED XML, XPE and MCE type from CREE Company. The good agreement between results of calculations and measurement is obtained.
