Samoregulacja zachowań żywieniowych: wpływ standardów oraz mechanizmów kontroli działania
The article presents theoretical conceptions and results of studies concerning the effect of the mechanisms related to the functioning of the reward system and self-regulation processes on the eating behavior. It is generally accepted that the current epidemic of obesity and overweight is caused by present-day “obesogenic“ food environment. The cause, however, seems to lie more in the absence of appropriate self-regulation strategies that allow to manage eating behaviors in the right way. These strategies consist of appropriate eating standards and effective action control mechanisms.
