%X The shapes of propeller blades are built from two-dimensional data of blade cross sections. The stress field of propeller blades are analyzed basing on the results of three-dimensional models and, previ-ously, on beam models. In this paper the possibility of applying the theory of thin shells for this pur-pose is discussed.
