The paper presents the results of preliminary real scale investigations on the influence of vessel thrusters on the quay wall. The measurement system installed in the ferry terminal in Port of Gdynia and the results of the measurements carried out are described. The prediction model of bow thrusters' reaction on the quay wall in dependence on weather conditions has been described.},
